Seven Things about Me, Seven New People to Know

Today I had the pleasure of being tagged by my good friend, Vid Luther.  So if you don’t know how this works, here are the rules:

I must write seven interesting things about myself, then I must tag seven others to do the same.  I notify them via a tweet or blog comment.  So here goes nothin’!

1. I was born in Montevideo, Uruguay so I can’t be president.
2. My wife and I met on a blind date set up by a mutual friend.
3. I got married November 8th, 2008.  That weekend, I missed my rehearsal and rehearsal dinner due to food poisoning courtesy of Chacho’s. (apparently, you shouldn’t eat the chicken there)
4. I can hold my self horizontally off a pole.
5. One of my little pleasures in life is to make roads on a tractor with a box blade.
6. I can quit bad habits in a day, once I make a decision.  (examples – stopped drinking cokes, texting while driving, eating cookies)
7. I love owning silver tennis shoes (all of my tennis shoes for the past 5+ years have been silver or some sort of gray).
